An antique fully hand-painted vase that is a striking ode to Commedia dell'Arte! The front of this fantastic piece of Italian pottery features two characters performing on a stage. The men appear to be minstrels! On the back, this unique vase depicts a guitar decorated with a floral cape. It measures approximately 12.25"H. The only marking is on the bottom which is impressed under glaze, 104 1. Excellent, preowned condition with a tight hair line on ...the back -- not noticeable when displayed (please see photographs).
