Original Description:
This is a rather charming, small stoneware jar or vase, either Chinese Song Dynasty or Thai Sawankhalok 14/15 th C.Glazed in a wonderful blue-black tenmoku (from heavy reduction firing) which has paler greenish highlights - a result of the flyash  from wood firing - a sought after aspect.Classic squat form with two opposed lug handles, delicately tapered, it sits upon a well turned footring.Some nice firing marks in the footring as well as pleasing glaze pooling/drips.
Perfect ...condition.
