Up for auction is this exquisite and rare vintage set of Coreen Simpson Black Cameo African American Jewelry. Coreen Simpson is a renowned American photographer and jewelry designer. “In 1989, a client requested a cameo depicting a woman of color. Ms. Simpson was amazed that this item was conspicuously absent from the American marketplace. Coreen Simpson was inspired to fill this void, and launched her signature jewelry piece, The Black Cameo® in 1990.” The set up for auction incl...udes a brooch pin, pierced post earrings, and charm bracelet. Each piece (including individual charms) is stamped with Coreen Simpson’s copyright. All pieces are gold-tone. Brooch measures 1.75” tall by 1.5” across; bracelet is 7” in length (not including clasp); each earring measures 1.25” tall by 1” across. Condition is pre-owned.
