Vintage Macintosh Powerbook G3 Pismo 25 Gig HD 512 Megs Ram Dual Boot
You are bidding on a vintage Macintosh PowerBook G3 Pismo laptop computer 400mhz. It has been upgraded to 512 megabytes of RAM. The hard drive is 25 gigabytes. It's running OS 9.2 and OS 10.4 as dual boot. The 14" active matrix screen is bright for a computer this age. The keyboard and trackpad are responsive. The PCMCIA slot works and read cards. The DVD drive reads DVD’s. The port cover door is on the back and wo...rks. The sound is loud and clear. The battery holds a charge and works well for about 2 hours use but YMMV. Comes with the AC adapter so you don't have to go buy one (if you can find one).Software installed includes Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Ultimate Doom, Prince of Persia, PGA Golf, Snood, Bejeweled, Jewelbox, and other software. Sorry, no discs included.The PRAM battery is dead, which means that you will have to reset the clock. There is wear and tear on the outside case consistent with a computer of this age. The hinges could be better but hold the screen in place until you lean it back past a 45 degree angle. There is a small gap where the DVD drive and the case come together that does not affect how the computer functions. What you see in the photos is what you get. Computer is sold "as-is" no warranty, no returns due to the age of the machine.
