This is a piece we acquired in Seguin, Guadalupe county, along with other jugs. We really can only speculate as to the maker, though it is clearly very old and distinctly Texas.
Very thick unglazed and overall very good condition. Circa 1860-1890's. One gallon (approx) fountain. There are some very old chips on the knob at the top.
