1960s SCHWINN SLIMLINE BICYCLE HORN TANK PANTHER JAGUAR AMERICAN VINTAGE FLEET! Click Photos to Enlarge
Description Here is an or...iginal slimline horn TANK which was removed from a 1960s Schwinn PANTHER beach cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. This fits middleweight Schwinn boys/mens bicycles with 26" wheels. This one is NOT rusted through like many that you see! Many times you see a bike like this, and the tank was thrown away decades ago! A cool bike missing its tank can really take away from a cool bike. This can make a good bike a GREAT bike!
This one is the deluxe chrome version with white paint and original Schwinn lettering! I installed a battery and the horn works! (it is a little tempermental and may take a little tinkering and adjusting how the battery sits)
Tanks are VERY often missing from vintage bicycles! If you EVER think you could use this, do NOT miss out!
Great for display or install it on your favorite bike! If you know these bikes, you KNOW how hard these are to find! If you ever think you could use this, do not miss out!
Great for your Schwinn Panther, Jaguar, American, Fleet, Typhoon, etc etc etc. (you must have the factory tabs on your frame for this to stay in place or you can always fabricate something) Again, please compare before you bid to be sure this will work for you! (Some of the others sometimes took a tank with chrome instead of the white paint)
Sold as is because it is used. It is awesome being original paint! Comes exactly as shown. Has chips scratches and the chrome shows age. Be sure to check out all pics and email with any questions regarding condition before you bid.
