I am selling my childhood MIDGE doll and all her accessories, outfits, and case. MIDGE was created by Mattel to be the best friend of the popular Barbie. The Midge doll is intact. Hair is still attached. Facial features are visible. The doll comes with her original carrying case. Carrying case is blue vinyl with a black handle. The front of the case includes a copyright statement for Mattel Inc 1963. Inside the case has a place for ...Midge on the left side, with the remainder set up as a closet. 10 plastic hangers are included. The following outfits are included: green 2 piece skirt suit with matching hat; yellow coat with matching hat; red coat with matching hat and handbag; green dress; brown knit coat with matching handbag; blue ski jacket; blue and white sweater; white slip; knit 2 piece pants and hooded sweater set; blue pants; flannel blouse and skirt; knit pink skirt and jacket; 2 knit sleeveless sweaters; red and white dress; knit sweater dress; 2 piece pajamas; silver tutu; black leotard and tights. Also included is a pink jewelry bag that holds a pearl necklace for Midge. The following accessories are included: 2 skis; 2 white boots; yellow brush; 2 black boots; 2 gold shoes; assorted single shoes; white phone; blue purse; straw basket purse; pillow; 2 belts; 2 red mittens; glasses; camera; roller; teacup; wide straw hat. Some of the outfits have the Barbie by Mattel label. Some were knitted or sewn by my grandmother. Midge is dressed in her silver tutu. All items are used, having been played with during the 1960s. We kept the doll, case, outfits and accessories carefully stored since then. Some outfits are wrinkled from decades of storage. Case has some scuff marks and a tear on the bottom inside. As shown in the photos, the case and its inside compartments are dented from decades of storage; also the inside cardboard closet shelf is torn on both sides and across the top. Items are more than 50 years old and show wear and tear. There is a tear in the green suit jacket. Items come from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
