Prize Baby George Borgfeldt Germany Antique Bisque Doll 4" W/Sticker
I am not very knowledgable about antique dolls, so please ask questions if I have mis-stated or missed something. This antique doll measures approximately 4" long, and has a real hair wig. Eyes appear to be glass, but I am not entirely sure. She also has wonderfully hand painted eye lashes and eyebrows! The body is covered with antique cotton batting. Underneath the batting the original sticker st...ating "Prize Baby" "Made in Germany" is on her stomach. This doll was purchased at an estate sale of a doll collector. I must admit I didn't know what I was buying, but recognized the better materials and quality.
Condition: Really no signs of play or abuse... just age. Batting is discolored. By the looks of the joint wiring, I believe it may be new. Hair is in very good condition, but could use a little arrangement.
