Vintage 1952 Olive Drab Military Issue Coleman Lantern Marked US and literature. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Parcel Select Ground.This looks brand new and its almost 70 years old. This is barely used. The only way I knew it was used was the light dark color from the heat generated inside. I can also smell the fuel when i open the fuel knob.their are some scratches on the yellow operating /maintenance instructions. This looks almost like its a day out of the factory. No crack...s or chips to the glass.This is old and has been used minimally but their are small amounts of paint missing in places but you would have to get close to see them.Im not sure if these military issue standard operating procedures were issued at the time of the lamp. Its possible. They were in the box. Some are dated 1945 and another looks like updated in 1968 . Also a reference to a Fort Lee a Army Base.Their is also reference to a model # 252A. I cant find this model # on the lamp. I dont know if that is accurate.Also pay special attention to the knob in the pics for spare mantels and parts. It doea have parts wrapped and it appears i may have been the first one to open the parts in the paper they came in.see pics.I did not attempt to operate this lamp. I dont know what Im doing. I heard some.bad things happen when you dont know how to operate something when gas and fire is involved. Its said back in the 60s some caps were were replaced because people were caught on fire. I will leave that to the new owner(s).Allow the photos to be the best descriptor of this item.
