This listing is for a VINTAGE SONY MINIDISC WALKMAN RECORDER MZ-R50, please see photos.
Item was tested using two AA size batteries in the attached black battery holder that is visible in the photos. Playback and recording was tested and item works fine, sound quality is very good from this model. The headphones visible in the photos are not the original ones which were missing from the box.
Please note: When inserting the two batteries in the holder, please look at th...e graphic on the bottom of the holder for proper orientation of the plus and minus when inserting the batteries, don't look at the orientation of the springs as the plus on one of the batteries has to go against one of the springs, this is how the manufacturer made it on this model.
This is an used item so it will have some marks and scratches on it.
