Offering for purchase one stunning and vintage Japanese Satsuma style table lamp by iconic lamp maker Frederick Cooper of Chicago. Outstanding in its every detail, this lamp features a muted palette of hand painted Asiatic peacocks, intricate gold embellishments, solid brass fittings, a handsome wood base, and a delicate crackle glaze finish.
Condition is excellent with no known chips, cracks, damage or repairs. It is in good working order with a ...3 way switch, and comes complete with the original lamp harp and brass asian symbol finial. Though the manufacturer's paper label is no longer present, you can see the remains (i.e. adhesive residue) of where it was once attached to the socket. A sticker on bottom of base suggests the lamp dates back to 11/85.

If you would like for the lampshade to be included there is no additional purchase cost, but there will be an additional shipping fee for box #2 as the lampshade must be shipped separately.
The lampshade is excellent conditional overall, but the plastic liner of shade has a hairline crack that is approximately 6" in length. This is not visible when shade is on the lamp, nor does it show through the pleated shade exterior, but I am a firm believer in disclosing as many details as possible.
