Family names of those peple that the town was trying to help and trying to save. In 1901 there are numerous entries that pertain to Smallpox being spread throughout the town and especially hitting the poor, and the homeless.Handwritten entries here address Homes that were disinfected; sick folks being put in safe houses; medical expenditures that were paid by the town ship; coffins were being built; a draft was paid to Lucas County for care of Smallpox cases, etc.

Handwritten entries address numerous financial transactions to include: "Received from County Infirmary; R. J. Morris for services as trustee; Elisa Houchkins for advertising the election; H. H.
