Welcome to my needle felting studio!
Please meet: "Twig"
Twig is one of my woodland Forest bell gnomes.© He is made with the softest top shelf wool in hand dyed tones of green, blues and brown blended into a wonderful outfit that resembles a landscape. His hat is adorned with olive moss green mohair yarn and a single acorn bell in antique copper metal jingles gently from the hat tip. His beard is made of a generous amount of specially hand dyed curls from France. T...hey are very soft, well defined and are the most wonderful sea foam shades of greenish blue. The bottom of his outfit is wound carefully with more of the lovely mohair yarn. He stands firmly. I used professional armature wire so he can be gently posed over and over again.
A lovely gift for yourself or another special person!Each gnome is made by me without a pattern and is one of a kind©Created by needle felting 100% wool over wire and can be posed gently.Measures about 10 to 14" tall to tip of hat depending on how you pose him. Gnome Notes:Norwegian Gnomes or Tomte (Also called a Nisse) are Scandinavian farm or household gnomes that protect home and hearth all year long.On Christmas Eve be sure to leave out a small bowl of milk to keep them happy for the next year. They can become quite temperamental and mischievous if not taken care of properly.
