Original Description:
This is a cute Circa 1950’s Japanese Brown Clay Alligator Ashtray measuring 5 inches long X31/2 inches deep and was a Souvenir Of Florida my parents bought many years ago and never used as an ashtray, displayed only in a cabinet. It is in mint Condition considering its age and supposed use. Still has a lot of original paint!!  When I lived in New Orleans my parents took vacations to Florida at that time and if we behaved we got a souvenir gift!  This one came from the old S...tuchey's stores that were around back then. The had bathrooms, gas , food and souvenirs!!  Great place. I must have been about 8 or 9 years old. So why would they buy me an ashtray??  Only because I liked alligators. I never smoked !!  I have another souvenir alligator that I purchased myself listed also.  Please check the photos and contact me with any questions. Thank you for your interest.
