Terrific antique gate weight, American, 19th century, cast iron in the form of a stylized tassel with molded decorative elements, including a length of early chain, retaining traces of old silver paint, the height (excluding chain) 4-3/4", the diameter at the base approx. 2-1/2". Scattered rust, otherwise very good, sturdy, untouched original condition.IMPORTANT NEW NOTE ON SHIPPING--PLEASE READ.
