YONKERS NY HOUSING AUTHORITY COMMISSIONER BADGE. Condition is "Used". Badge is 1-1/4" in height, the face is of bright gilt color with ring of blue enamel with lettering in gold color. Surprisingly the seal in the center is that of NY State instead of the seal of the City of Yonkers which is a bust of George Washington. That alone makes it very unique. The front looks brand new and unused, including the like new badge case. The reverse of the badge has the standard pin & clasp and ...no other markings other than being tarnished. I don't think the badge was ever removed from the case nor was it carried. The case is too new of condition.
