Nice Heavy Cast Iron Eagle Fire Mark. The front of the plaque is oval and black beaded around. There are two hanging holes one on the top and one on the bottom. The eagle is painted a red with gold overtones. Back of the plaque reads FACSIMILE OF INS. CO. OF NA, FIRE MART ISSUED IN 1830.   After 1920s is when this writing appeared on the plaques.Measures 8 5/8 by 11 1/4. There are no other writings on the back of the plaque.
