Original Description:
This is a group of excavated round shot, buttons, large copper coins, and miscellaneous items from the French & Indian War campsite at Edmond's Swamp along Forbes Road (near modern Buckstown, PA) which was occupied by British/Colonial forces in 1758. The largest musket ball is about 17mm in diameter, making it most likely from a Brown Bess musket. All items are in excavated condition as shown.
NOTE: This was dug years ago (not by me) legally with permission on private land that ...is no longer open to artifact collecting.
