Vintage HP Omnibook 900B (Intel Pentium III @ 450 MHz, 128 MB RAM, Win98SE)

This auction is for a vintage HP Omnibook 900B laptop. This laptop was used by our Campus Security staff and I believe it was mounted inside one of the patrol vehicles for a short time. This laptop has had all personal and critical data purged. The battery does hold a charge but the longevity has not been tested. This laptop also includes a CD-ROM module since there is no onboard CD-ROM or floppy drive.
Cosmetic wise: This laptop has the usual wear / tear on it. The bottom cha...ssis has some sticker residue underneath the serial number sticker. There is also the remains of company sticker on the top half. The lid has some scuffs and some white particles on it. The palm rest and keyboard show some wear but the keys are responsive.
Performance wise: This laptop performs quite well for its age. There are some moments of slow down but with old hardware and software, that is to be expected. USB and CD-ROM transfer speeds are normal. One interesting note is that on a cold boot, the exhaust fan will start spinning very loudly before returning to a normal speed.
Note: The left mouse button beneath the track pad needs to be pressed hard to register a mouse click.
