You are looking at A 1960 or 1961 Mercury Merc350 40HP Outboard. This was purchased from a friend of mine who bought it 20 years ago for his boat not realizing he needed a short shaft. When he bought it, it was in need of a new distributor which he found from a spare motor. This motor has spark and good compression. Stored in basement for 20 years. I am not a outboard mechanic but I have had this looked over and been told it is in really good condition. Gas can is available with it as ...well. Please feel free to ask questions.
