A very nice Vintage 3 Pc. Dick Tracy Dinner Set consisting of a 9" Dinner Plate, a 5 1/2" Cereal Bowl and a 3" high Mug. Made by Homer Laughlin in 1950 according to date code on bottom of mug. Both the plate and bowl have no marks on bottom. Hard to find all three pieces together.The plate features Dick Tracy with his two way wrist radio on his arm while Muggs his dog is lying on top of the squad car with the cityscape in the background.The bowl features Capt. Patton, Junio...r and Sam on the inside, while B.O. Plenty, Gravel Gertie, Dick Tracy and Tess are around the outside of the bowl.The mug features Sparkle Plenty, Junior and Muggs. All three pieces have a blue band around the top.Very nice condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There are some utensil marks, but the decals are still nice and colorful.
