Antique 1897 Cheney Anvil & Vise Tool
Weighs 8.5 lbs. 2" Jaws.
The Anvil/Vise is marked:
"CHENEY ANVIL & VISE NO. 10 PAT. NOV. 18 1879".
"FULTON IRON & ENGINE WORKS DETROIT, MICH."
There are traces of Original Paint. There is a Lip on the Bottom of the Base to hang over the bench. Screw works easy ... still greased up. There i...s a newer spacer washer at front of screw.
USED CONDITION: There are the normal scruffs & scratches to the Cheney Anvil & Vise due to use & storage. There are traces of the original paint. There is very little surface rust. Needs to be cleaned, if desired.
Approximate Measurements: Overall Length Vise Closed: 10".
