The Vintage Time Digger here. Thanks for visiting my auction. Up for sale is this classic all stainless steel 60s vintage Carl F. Bucherer automatic mechanical wrist watch. It’s in lightly used condition and is running strong and keeps time. The all stainless steel case has some light wear and tear. Beautiful silvery white dial and chrome hands are excellent. Please note the inscription “OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED CHRONOMETER”making this an especially nice find. Not all watches were te...sted and certified in this way. There are some very faint darker areas on the left side of the dial but barely perceptible. Measures 34 mm in diameter being a nice mid sized piece for a man or woman. This Bucherer has a Swiss made ETA RR Caliber 2522, 25 Jewel automatic mechanical movement housed in a solid case. The movement is a bit loose within the case but doesn’t harm the function at all. The acrylic crystal is a new replacement. I’ve fitted this elegant watch with a new old stock Spiedel 18 mm black alligator grain leather strap. Let me know if you have any questions.
