Nice 1920s LePage toy outboard motor boat outfit - motor, boat and battery box are all original. Just as they were originally sold nearly 100 years ago. The overall length of boat & motor is 20 inches. The 2 coil motor runs perfectly with good RPM. The boat is in very good condition with only some surface rusting but no holes apparent. The bottom of the boat looks very good with only some paint scuffing. The battery box is also complete and in good condition. Instead of buyin...g 6 big "D" cells, I found that a rechargeable 6 volt battery will fit in the battery box. It's cheaper, and will last for years. Yes, you could put this boat out on a pond and run it. There is a photo of the rechargeable battery but it IS NOT included in this auction. This is a predecessor of the motors to come and a true part of the history of toy outboard motors. For sale only within the continental USA.
