Up for sale is a beautiful Chinese wall hanging scroll. It appears to be hand painted on silk and mounted to paper, on a wood roll. It measures approx. 24 inches wide (Wood is 26 inches wide) and 70 inches long. It is of 2 blue birds on some flowers. It is in excellent condition with one small crease as seen in photo 5, and a few spots of dirt also seen in photo #4. It has a string attached to hang from, or also to tie scroll when rolled. There is some Chinese? Or Asian type of writing... that I can not read. Not sure if it tells date and artist? I know I have had this since the early 1990’s. I got it as a gift from a friend who had an antique store but no clue as to the age or origin of this scroll? It is very beautiful and a great piece of handmade artwork!Buyer pays shipping.
