A superb thin walled porcelain cup that most likely dates to the around turn-of-the-century. I haven't found the exact mark yet, maybe someone will help me out. Cup is octagonal in design and is hand decorated. Heavy gold and rust red are the primary colors. Throw in some yellow, pale blues & greens, and black and that about covers it. Cup stands 2-1/2" tall by 3-3/8" to edge of handle and is decorated inside as well as outside. The wide band of gold did not photograph well on the cup. The saucer is 4-1/2" across the flats. It is with vignettes of Geishas and one male in the black robe. Incredibly detailed work and in great condition, no chips or dings.
