Hi there. I am selling this nice lot of 3 polished Petrified Wood stones from Australia (a very rare find indeed!).
They are absolutely beautiful! Petrified Wood is ...often found in various places in the United states, but it is rarely seen for sale from Australia! This makes it rare as well as valuable!
Since this is so unusual, this is a real treat! There are very strict rule and export laws regarding removing fossils from Miles, Queensland, Australia, making it very difficult to find anything from there on the mineral market.
Each bag of 3 stones weighs an average of 36-45 carats, which is 7-9 grams. The stones range in size from 12 to 22 mm.
These photos depict 5 different kits. In essence 15 different stones. This is to show the variety between the pieces as well as how comparable they are to one another.
These photos are representative examples of what you will be getting, not the exact item. They are very high-grade and of superior quality. They are tumbled, smooth, shiny and have a range of colors from bright reds to glowing oranges and weird milky greys with very fascinating stripes and vein like deigns in them, a mix of truly gorgeous colors.
