We are offering for sale a fabulous Irish silver sugar bowl made by the important Cork silversmith, William Egan. Reproducing a distinctively Irish style that was fashionable during the mid-18th century, this good-sized, round bowl was intended for use with sugar, but is ideal for many other purposes too. It has a swirl effect, punched bead design and stands on 3 hoof feet.
Made in Cork, but hallmarked in Dublin, this handsome bowl has a satisfying weight and is in fine c...ondition throughout.
