Superb antique calico quilt top in a brick road patchwork variation with marvelous stitching. So many beautiful fabric variations in an abundance of colors. Indigo blues, red, brown, green and black. Beautiful craftsmanship. I consider this a "fine" example of it's time, about 1880's, possibly just a bit later. The fabrics are still vivid for their age. I doubt ever used or washed. Has amazing graphic appeal displayed or hung just as is or could be completed by simply adding a back/bat...ting etc.. Please view the 12 photos as I tried to capture the variety of beautiful fabrics in the fabulous piece of history.

~*Condition is wonderful for it's age, again I believe unused. Fabric is strong and stable. Appears very clean and well maintained. I found only one spot on the underside which is insignificant to the overall piece. Beautiful overall condition.
