This handsome case was manufactured under license by French Company of California! Louis Vuitton Collaborated with French in order to keep up with the high demand for LV products in the United States! Pieces were available through prestigious high end retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus along with a few other luxury luggage boutiques - some pieces were even private labeled - this one was not, however. Here are the details! Vintage piece - it has seen travel to wonderful places - so has the character only a love piece can have. Not abused...just enjoyed! Actually, it's always been pampered - and it's over 40 years young - so it looks great for it's age! All is very strong - but there is evidence of use and wear throughout! Zoom pictures for details! The LV Monogram is recognized all over the world as a symbol of luxury....it is very vivid and crisp. A few dark marks, scuffs, rubs and other marks scattered. None real objectionable. (WANT NEW - Please enjoy your continued search! - BUT - if you want something no one else will have or even see...this is it!) Rolled leather handles are strong and feel good in your hand. Zip is also strong - runs great. The leather is all strong. It does show wear throughout - scuffs, discoloration, rubs, dirt are visible. Some darker smudges too. May look fabulous with a cleaning - but leaving that to you. The bag has been monogrammed - it might can be removed - but even as is - has tons of character! Name tag included! Inside is lined in a heavy brown textile and presents well. No heavy smells. It's such a joy to carry and travel with...rare design and style...super handsome! Charming bag...measurements coming! Will be a great addition to your luxury luggage ensemble! Looks great in the car seat next to you!
