Vintage C1950 " Chad Valley Ubilda " Clockwork Locomotive 1796

This "Chad Valley" "Ubilda" locomotive appears to be complete and with its' box are in "as found" condition."Chad Valley" started to produce tin plate toys in 1945, outsourcing manufacture to Metal Box Ltd who had the machinery and skills required to make quality printed toys and money boxes. In the same year Chad Valley acquired Burnetts Ltd giving them ownership of the UBILDA trademark.The lithographed metal does have the usual scratches and marks that you would associate with an it...em of this age.But the paint has retained retained a good colour and gloss.I have tried to show the condition in the photographs.The clockwork motor works well and there is a small envelope with screws, nuts, keys and a spanner.The loco has the "Chad Valley" logo and Royal Crest on the back and "L M S 17841" to the side of the body.The loco has its' original box, there are no splits or tears to the lid or base and the lid has its' illustration and instructions, these have a good colour.There maybe delays with deliveries into the EU at the moment and customs charges may be due on the items.
