Case: The bad part of this is ...the still slightly visible serial number which under the loupe, I tried my best to figure out is 400336. That is my best guesstimate. Most of the numbers looked rubbed because of the bracelet which is always the case. The 5508 registered design is visible under the loupe. The best part of the case is the 4 nice chamfers. Still highly visible and doesn’t look polished in my opinion. Looks sharp!
Caseback: needs some restoration and works as the teeth are worn and Michael Young from HK is able to restore this or good restorers should be able to laser weld this nicely.
Dial & hands: glossy dial and looks great and looks like an older redial that doesn’t looks bad.
Bracelet: Stamped 7206 and end piece 80 with date stamped as 2nd quarter 1961. Bracelet looks restored to me as it is very tight.
Movement: working but not timed or checked. Missing 2 movement clamp screws that are easily available on eBay. Just Google for rolex 1530 clamp screws. The original butterfly rotor is one of the best feature that the movement is all original as most were replaced.
