For your consideration is this Wonderful Antique Metal Acme Egg Grading Scale with 48 Paper Gummed Egg Advertising Plates.
This is a well designed and unique antique egg grading scale. It is made by ACME, The Specialty Mfg. Co. in St. Paul Minn. USA and has a patent date of June 24, 1924.
A Wonderful Display and Conversation Piece!
The scale looks to be made of metal and aluminum with stamped in scale number marks and lettering. It measures approximately 10 inches ...long, 2.75 inches wide and stands 4.25 inches tall. It is in very good overall working condition with some slight surface rust patina (easy to buff out if desired).
The scale comes with 48 (3.75" by 2.75") paper gummed advertising/book plates with a lovely vintage "eggs in a wire basket" design.
A Great Item for Use, Farm House Decor or Addition to any Antique Collection!
