Description
This is no doubt one of the rarest lens on L39 mount and most sought after nowadays by the collectors. The French lens manufacturer Angenieux in Paris made a lot of amazing lenses on cinema cameras and very few on the 35mm film systems. Those produced for the Leica are the rarest. This one is in overall great condition. You can see the detailed pictures for the info. This lens actually has coating but can be easily removed by moderate cleaning... It was because the age of the lens and the technical limitation when they are made. I have seen a lot of them have the coating removed and become coating-less and then the dealer claimed that they are "optically perfect" while actually they are not at all. For this one, there are some minor marks on the coating of the first element and like I said, if you just remove the beautiful blue coating, these hair thin scratches and other marks will no longer exist. But I will never do that before selling, I will just leave it the condition I received it and winner has the right to decide how to treat this beautiful gem. There is also a small scuff on the front rim which I took a macro photo of it. Other than that, this rare lens is clean and beautiful.◆Overall Condition: Exc-Minimal using marks. Details please refer to the pictures.◆Functional
MF works properly. Aperture ring turns smoothly.Iris blades open and close smoothly. No specific defect detected, perfect functional.◆Optical systemNo haze, fungus, separation, or other defects of any kind.
