Original Description:
This is a very nice, vintage, shaker style wooden oval box made by FO Merz of Chatham, Mass and designed by WF Harris.  The box has 4 fingers (3 on the box and 1 on the lid) & has copper nails.  It is nicely stenciled & painted in shades of red, black & green.  The piece measures 11 1/2" long, 8 3/8" wide and stands 4 1/8" tall.It is in excellent vintage condition & very well made.
