This is a vintage 1980's Sony CFS-950 AM/FM radio Cassette player boom box. It plays tapes well, all functions work. The radio receives both AM and FM and the speakers sound great. The antenna is on firmly and extends. It comes with the original AC power adapter (cord is a little aged but no splits or frays). The case has some scuffs and scratches and there is some paint wear to the speaker grills as can be expected but overall it displays well. May need some deeper cleaning in the tig...ht corners. All gaskets are still intact, the rubber sealing doors for the headphone jack and the ac power adapter are still present. No missing screws. Handle is still there. Plugs in/works. The cassette door comes all the way off when the eject button is pressed but installs properly and easily with a just a click, almost as though it was designed that way. Tape player functions on all settings. I've been listening to my Bob Seager tape all day - no issues. There is a faint odor from the back when you open it - batteries were left inside and left to "go bad". I removed them properly and thoroughly cleaned the inside of the case with the proper solutions (electronic contact cleaning solution). It works with batteries as tested but an odor was present at listing that may fade over time. Just noting for disclosure purposes. Also included in listing - brand new old stock unopened SEALED in original cellophane Maxell UR 90 normal bias recording cassette tape - make your own mix tape!
