Antique Averill Madame Hendren DOLLY REKORD DOLLDolly Rekord was produced in 1922 by Averille Manufacturing Co. She has a composition head & shoulders, arms & legs, and cloth body. She has bright blue eyes that open and close as head tilts back. Her coloring is beautiful including her pink lips, red tongue and two white teeth. Hair is very thick and I’ve place vintage silk ribbons on bobby pins . Body’s white cloth is stamped Madame Hendren (see photo) and has speaker mecha...nism in the front and recorder/player mechanism in the back with turn crank on one side. Doll has the original six cylinder records that fit in the back. There is a release mechanism on the back that is lifted once the doll has been cranked. You can then hear the sound like an old victrola. Will leave any adjusting to the new owner . Doll comes from the original owners family and has been stored for years. She’s wearing her original outfit including slip, dress, shoes, and socks. There are some tape marks around the player in the back . Looks like it was a loose where the metal crimps to hold it in. Her composition is in excellent condition with only a little damage here or there. I see some light crazing on the legs but nothing major. Clothing is in excellent shape with only slight ware and some discoloration and light yellowing from age. .
