1945 Nanking Nanjing China Photo Album, University, Chinese Soccer Football Team

Original 1945 - 1949 vintage photo album from Nanking / Nanjing China. The album appears to have been compiled by a student or possibly faculty member of a University in Nanking. On the back of the front cover is a very ornately woven or stitched I.C.F.C. Nanking patch with the year 1945. This patch is seen on some of the uniforms of the Chinese soccer / football team of the university. One of the photos with writing depicts a team in Pindong City, Taiwan where a football championship ...was held in 1949. I removed a number of the photographs from the album to view the reverse and in each one there were written captions or titles. Many of the photos are so small that removing them would have damaged the paper corner holder so I could not check for writing. But I am guessing that most of the photos inn the album have captions. There are a total of 131 photos in the album. The patch measures 4 1/2" x 3 7/8" inches. The largest ( the Pindong City football team ) measures 6" x 4 1/4" inches, the others are a wide range of sizes from 4" x 2 3/4" to 1 1/2" x 1" inches. The album measures 7" x 5" and about 1" inch thick. I have uploaded all the photos in the album for your viewing.
