The rich, ruby red color of this hand-blown decanterand its tapered stopper is stunning! The color is matched only by thebeautiful, organic form, suggestive perhaps of a tulip with four petals. Thedecanter stands about 9½” tall, with stopper, and about 7” tall withoutstopper; measures about 3” in diameter at the base. Smoothed pontil. Vintage, perhaps 1960s. Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, nicks, fleabites, damage or repairs. Comes from a private collection with no ev...idence of beingused. A strikingly beautiful piece!
