Vntg Fenton Victorian Blue Glass 7 pc Water Lemonade Set Hand Painted Excel
This is an outstanding Water / Lemonade Set: Pitcher & 6 glasses.Put out by the Fenton Co. The makers mark is on the inside of the handle where it is attached to the pitcher. It is the mark of Fred Bruce.Light blue glass decorated with hand painted raised florals of spring colors: pink, orange, yellow, and white sponging.The Pitcher is approx 10-1/4" high x 7-1/2" front to handle ...back. It has a scalloped top edge. One of the scallops has a glass mark due to production - not a weakness - totally solid. It is hard to see. See pictures. There are a couple air bubbles - a sign of the times. It had a gold edge - most of which has worn off due to age; but, definitely does not effect the beauty at all. Some of the pictures have a bright glare spark on the pitcher edge due to the flash from my camera off the gold trim. There are also some glare flashes on the body due to my flash.The pitcher holds 8-10 cups = 64 - 80 oz.There is a set of 6 glasses that are 4" high x 3" at opening with a paneled body. They each hold 8 oz.It is an exquisite set for use or decor. Great for any collection.
