Up for auction is a 1973-74 Brad Park goal puck. Park notched this goal on March 17, 1974 at the Boston Garden in Boston. This was the 24th goal of the season for Park (24) assist by Vickers (21) and Stemkowski (40). This puck is notable because Hall Of Famer Brad Park of the New York Rangers scored at 7:57 of the 1st period to take the lead 1-0 but the Bruins had to much fire power with Phil Esposito scored his 64th and... 65th goals and the Bruins win 5-2 in a battle of two original 6 teams (Boston Bruins vs NY Rangers). The Toronto win clinched the last playoff spot in the East Division. Brad Park won 2 Stanley Cups with the Boston Bruins, Park was elected to the NHL Hall of Fame in 1988. This puck is part of the NHL's 70's puck program which lasted two seasons. It is registered under the number NYR-2-259. Thanks for looking! Please look at my other Super Rare NHL game used goal scored pucks from the same program and also my rare other pucks and hockey sticks from the same era. The NHL Puck comes with the original information sticker and does not include the separate registry paper.
