Cast iron model of a vintage Harley Davidson police motorcycle and sidecar, complete with cast iron police officer riders.
This may have originally been a pull-along toy; there is a loop on the front fender where a string may have been laced and there is a metal tab on the spokes of the front wheel to create a satisfying ratcheting noise as it turns, as if to imitate an engine's sound.
I don't know when it was made but this model/toy is old and it shows. The paint is u...n-retouched. It is chipped, scuffed and has light dings. I see no rust. Overall, the motorcycle and sidecar as well as the policemen are in very good condition, considering their age.
There are Harley Davidson stickers on the gas tank of the bike and on the back of the sidecar. The wheels have the words Harley-Davidson International Inc. & Xenox molded onto them.
This would be an excellent restoration project or simply a timeless collectible for the Harley enthusiast.
