This is a Restored 8 inch 3 speed 1916 colonial Fan., It has been gone thru from top to bottom ... the fan blades are 8 inches in diameter balanced and polished to a mirror finish...Fans total height is about 12 inches, everything works as it should..All the speeds run ..low and medium, high.. This fan is over 100 years old and uses carbon brushes, because homes were either equipped with AC or DC current, so be aware that there will be some small sparking seen inside the motor ca...se from the carbon brushes making contact with the rotor..this is normal and the way it was made..this is not a modern fan... This is a somewhat rare and desirable fan, with highly cupped solid brass blades made before World War I...you don't come across these very often especially in this size and condition...please ask any questions you may have....any excess shipping and insurace charges will be retured thru Paypal...On Jul-06-19 at 21:54:51 PDT, seller added the following information:just to clarify...The hole in the center badge was stamped at the factory when made new, and not drilled by some amateur...
