This listing is for a stunning Madame Alexander CISSY from 1955. She is wearing the fabulous mauve torso gown with the more unusual all gold ribbon trim. Cissy is in very good original condition with no cracks or splits in her hard plastic. There are a couple of very minor marks on her wrist where her bracelets have rested. I've also found that there are a couple of lighter small fleshtone colored spots, two on the forehead and two or three on the chest. T...hese are truly minor but wanted to mention it. Her beautiful facial coloring is all original. She has all her eyelashes and her eyes are so very blue. Her beautiful brunette wig is in the correct updo with spit curls at the ears. She is marked "Alexander" at the back of her neck. The fantastic gown is in very good condition with no stains, or odors. There is one tiny hole in the fold of the dress in the back towards the top which you can't see unless you pull the fold open and look for it. It is a beautiful pinkish mauve color. It zips up the back and is tagged in the back. The gold ribbon trim is so very pretty and different. This gold is delicate and prone to fraying, but I've found only one area of fraying. It is on the top big poof by her left hand near the back edge. It folds in nicely and isn't noticeable when on the doll. Under the dress Cissy wears a pink taffeta fitted slip with netting flounce and attached panties. She also wears good condition nylons and gold heels. The elastic on the heels is not stretchy, but they stay on the foot nicely. Completing the outfit are the two gold rhinestone bracelets, one of which has a weak spot, and vintage replacement rhinestone earrings. This Cissy is on p. 31 of "The Cissy Files" and the author lists her as Hard To Find. She is a simply gorgeous doll that will be a centerpiece of your collection!Shipping varies according to where you live in relationship to Richmond VA.
