An antique, 1800's, Black Americana china frozen Charlie or Charlotte (Actually, I think it is suppose to be a boy). This doll is very unusual in that he stands slanted forward and does not stand on his own (he is top heavy). His face and body are both unusual. He measures approximately 3 1/2" tall and is in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks, or flakes ...to this unusual Frozen Charlie. There are, the usual, manufacturing flaws that were done when it was made (there is a little piece of extra china, on the inside of one leg (see photo). This is a very interesting 19th Century frozen Charlie doll that will be certain to compliment any collection! Being offered with no reserve.
