For sale is a used Swiss Omega 'no name' Constellation bumper automatic watch, likely produced in the early 1950s.
18k solid gold case and case back. Swiss Omega 352 'bumper'automatic chronometer movement. Case reference 2652.
There's a number of articles available on the web, describing the story behind these 'no name' models produced for the US market during a time when the 'Constellation' name was trademark protected (for a Lockheed - TWA airliner).
We understand t...hat the dial and case were factory-restored in the early 2000s. The dial is in mint condition, no immediately visible imperfections.
Hands, applied golden indices and Omega-signed plexi crystal in excellentcondition. Signed gold plated crown.
18k solid yellow gold case and case back, in mint condition overall, very fewlight surface scratches..
Bezel and lugs in excellent cosmetic condition.

This Omega watch is winding, setting and running well and keeping fairly good vintage time(ca. +40sec / day based on recent overnight time check).
It comes on a little used Omega-signed black leather strap with signed gold plated buckle.
Measurements are ca. 35mm in diameter excl. crown, and ca. 42mm lug-to-lug.Lug width 18mm.
Please note that most vintage watches are smaller than contemporary models.
Men's watches marketed in the 50s and 60s regularly featured diameter sizes between 31mm and 35mm, while 36mm -38mm diameters were considered 'oversize' or 'jumbo'.
