A once in a lifetime item for St. Louis Blues fans. I have for bid an oversized (12.5 inches by 16 inches) Christmas Card send out by Jean and Sid Salomon. The image on the front depicts Santa on ice skates with a hockey stick. Inside is a picture of the 1968-69 St. Louis Blues team attached to an image of the arena. Opposite the team picture is a metallic sheet with crossed sticks and the Blues logo above ...the poem "If" by Rudyard Kipling. A vellum insert is a copy of the 90th Congressional Record, which describes the first game of a brand new team, the St. Louis Blues. The back states that the card was designed and printed for Sid Salomon, one of the residents responsible for the Blues. The front says Seasons Greetings from Jean and Sid Salomon. I have no idea how many of these were printed or how many still exist, but this is in great shape. Any fan or collector would be proud to have this in their collection. Take a look at the pictures, and !!
