Vintage Barbie ~ Lovely A/O Redhead Talking Barbie in Japanese Exclusive Raspberry Suit
This is a very pretty redhead nape curl Talking Barbie in a wonderful outfit! She is in excellent condition and would be near mint if not for a few greenish marks on the back of her legs. Her hair is nice and glossy, with replaced rubber band on the nape ponytail. No haircuts, missing plugs.
Her face is beautiful! She has gorgeous huge blue eyes, and nice bro...ws. She has full red pouty lips, and some blush. Her lashes are all there. No nose nip, neck split or other damage.
She has the correct Talking Barbie body, but she no longer talks. She has tight limbs, amazingly. Most of these have pop-off limbs. 100% coral nail polish, beautiful stance. She has these light greenish stains on both legs (see pic) which do not show on display, because they're only in back.
She will come to you in her JE Raspberry Velvet Suit which is in very good condition, not mint. The velvet coat and hat are very nice, just slightly dingy from age, but not bad. The hat is otherwise in perfect condition, ribbon is beautiful. The coat has a couple of small darkish spots on left upper front and one on back. Also the coat needs a minor seam restitch on left (see pic). The lining looks perfect. The outfit comes with a red purse, white gloves and hot pink closed-toe shoes, all in great condition.
NOTE: The shift is NOT the original, but a perfectly made reproduction tailor-made by the amazing Sylvia Campbell. Everything else is original. This dress is one of 3 different ones that came with this set. This one is shown in one of the fashion booklets and is illustrated in "Barbie in Japan book.
