Lovely and pristine, fresh from an estate, this is a Holly doll hand made by Helen Bullard in Ozone Tenn. circa mid 1900's. She measures 10" tall. Hand carved, she has a beautiful face nicely painted with intense blues eyes and red mouth. Her hair is a swept back page boy. She wears a dirndl well check dress with lace knickers, petticoat and apron. Her dress has a lovely script label, there is a paper tag on her back and Holly is embroidered on her petticoat. She has been hardly ...played with at all, if ever, evidenced by her legs still being tight at the hip joints not having been moved into a sitting position. Her head swivels. Beautiful doll.
