Series 1 Helmar Card. Tough series was available only in packs out of potato chip bags. Only 2500 sets were made. I have a few sets that i am breaking up. A little background on Helmar......In 2005, the Helmar Brewing Company produced a regional issue card set (series 1) along with other various collectibles featuring athletes from several different sports. The Helmar company president Charles Mandel is a sports fan who has a genuine affection for the sports collectibles hobby, and he ...likes marketing his products with items that sports fans will enjoy. You will be hooked on the amazing original artwork of these cards. The Helmar Brewing trading card series was first introduced in June of 2005 in areas of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania and were only ever avaliable in those areas. The Helmar Brewing cards were available only by purchasing a one ounce bag of chips, and each bag of chips contained one pack that had 3 cards inside.
